How to Install WQ Series Submersible Sewage Pump with Auto-Coupling?

Two common installation methods
Submersible sewage pump has simple installation conditions and large flow coverage, It is one of the most commonly used lifting  equipment in water treatment proiects, especially small and medium-sized proects. There are two common installaton methods of submersible sewage pump. coupling instalation and mobile instalation.
Coupling installaton is to connect the pump with the pipeline through the coupler, it is convenient to separate the pump from the water outlet pipeline. The pump can be  lifted by the lifting device during maintenance.Coupling installation is applicable to submersible sewage pumps of varous specificatons. it is the most commonly used installation method of submersible sewage pumps. The coupler is supplied in complete sets by the equipment manufacturer.
Mobile installation means that the outlet pipeline of the pump is directy connectd to the water surface through a hose, and the submersible sewage pump is placed athe bottom of the pool by its own weight or suspended on the lifting device through an iron chain. For mobile instalaton, there is no need to fix the coupler and pool bottom, which is easy to move.It can be lifted together with the pipeline durng maintenance. At the same tme,due to the installaton mode, t is difficult to bear large torgue, which is ony suitable for small submersible sewage pumps.
(1) Minimum operating level
For pumps with a power of more than 11kw, the motor cooling system of the device can be selected to cool the pump. If the cooling svstem is not seleced the pumped medium will directly cool  the motor. The minimum liquid level cooresponding to the two different cooling modes is different.the liquid level required by the direct cooling mode is higher than that with the cooling system.
in the installaton condition diagram provided by the manufacturer the soild triandle “v”and the holow tiandle “”are used to distinuish. where “y” indicates with cooling systemand “” indicates without coolina system
in the installation conditon diagram of the above case. the effective minimum liquid level is 570mm from the bottom of the coupling device with cooling system and 785mm without cooling system. that is when there is a cooling  system, the effctive liquid level can be 215mm lower.

Plane opening and positioning
During the coupling installation of submersible pump, the minimum installation size of submersible pump shall be considered for the plane opening, in the case, the a-directon view shows the size of the minimum mounting hole of the water pump, 1000 x 700mm.
When posifioning,the pool side where the guide rod is instaled is the reference line. This is because the positioning of the submersible sewage pump is completed by the guide rodcomected with the couplin devce, and the position of the guide rod is detemined by the pool side. When posifoning the bolis of the coupler base, it also needs to take the pooside as the reerence ine. According to the above case,the position of the bolthole 253mm away from the pool side shal be determined first, and then the positon of the other twobolt holes shall be determined through the spacing of the bolt holes 350mm.
Finally, the most important dimensions reflected in the drawings are the position and siz of the top plane opening and the position and specication of the embedded anchor screw at the bottom (generally reserved holes are used for the design of post cast concrete).
