What is the difference between a standard sewage ejector pump and a grinder pump?
A standard sewage ejector pump uses an open impeller to pass whole solids up to 2 inches in diameter through 2″ or 3″ pipes. A grinder pump active-cuts solids into a fine slurry, allowing the pump to push waste through smaller 1.25″ to 2″ pipes and lift it across higher vertical heads and longer horizontal runs.
Can the Tussu® grinder pump handle flushable wipes and rags?
